GEMCO Constructors, founded in July of 2014, is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. GEMCO is a national mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building automation systems and service contractor providing comprehensive design and build solutions for its customers throughout the United States. GEMCO is coast to coast holding engineering and construction registrations, licenses, and certifications within 30+ states.
GEMCO specializes in providing design/build solutions to meet our customers’ infrastructure construction needs in the most “overall” economical way possible. Our method of design build construction not only shortens the procurement and construction timeline, but it also reduces the initial capital investment, all the while ensuring that the end user receives the most energy efficient system economically viable for the project. Regardless of the project type or size, our internal team of engineers, estimators, project managers, and installers ensure that our clients receive the system best fit for their needs, on time and within budget. We strive to construct a safe and reliable team environment that allows our employees to meet their goals, build relationships, and obtain growth and achievement.
GEMCO’s culture is the driving force behind who we are as a company. We take pride in our Leadership Team, our company’s Vision and Mission, the strong Culture we have built, and our Philanthropic work in our local community.
SAFETY DOES NOT OCCUR BY CHANCE; IT IS PART OF OUR CULTURE.
It is the policy of GEMCO Constructors to strive for the highest safety standards on our projects. Safety does not occur by chance, it is part of our culture. Employees at all levels work diligently to execute the company’s policy of maintaining safety and occupational health to meet the goal of zero incidents. Our safety program has been developed to assure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations with particular emphasis on the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, and the OSHA requirements that apply to our construction operations (29 CFR Part 1926). It is the obligation of all employees to be knowledgeable of the standards established by these agencies and to implement the rules and regulations on projects under their direction.
Regarding the safety of the general public, our own employees, and the employees of our subcontractors are a supreme responsibility of all levels of the organization. We intend to proactively mitigate hazards to prevent any accidental injury, property damage, fire damage, and occupational illness. All of which could result in human suffering. Accidents, even minor ones, cause pain, both physically and mentally. Prevention of injury and illness is a goal well worthy of our achievement.

"We’ve worked with GEMCO for a number of years and have always had great experiences working with them on our projects. Their ability to deliver on tight schedules and maintain the high quality of work that we expect keeps us coming back. They hold themselves to a high standard and value the relationship. Looking forward to the next one.
We are frequently asked by our clients for the names and qualifications of contractors for both ground up, new construction and for service work as well as tenant improvement jobs. We are always delighted to be able to put a company such as GEMCO Construction in front of our clients as we are very confident in their ability to deliver on time and on budget.
